Full Job Description
This position is based in Toronto. Successful candidate is expected reside in a location that is within a commutable distance.

About the role:

  • You are a seasoned strategist and natural problem-solver who can navigate complex challenges and collaborate effectively across the enterprise. You enjoy working with data, conducting quantitative and qualitative analyses, and synthesizing findings into actionable insights and presentations. You are a self-learner and comfortable working with ambiguity and in a fast-paced organization.


About the day-to-day:

  • Frame and deconstruct complex problems, analyze datasets, and synthesize insights and recommendations.

  • Conduct market research and analysis to help inform Peoples Group perspectives on emerging trends in Financial Services, assess new business opportunities, and evaluate competitive landscapes

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to inform strategic decisions and solve for complex business challenges.

  • Support annual strategic planning process including the development of business strategies and action plans, while working cross-functionally across multiple Business Lines.

  • Prepare and deliver clear and concise reports to communicate recommendations to leadership team.

  • Extensive experience working with PowerPoint, Excel, and financial models/quantitative analyses

  • Support quarterly and monthly business review process including monitoring of KPIs against Strategic Initiatives

  • Supportanalysis and research requests throughout the year

  • Work closely with the AVP and VP of Strategy, and work independently to drive key projects and initiatives forward.


About the qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of management consulting experience

  • Experience in financial services, lending, payments, and/or digital assets preferred

  • Proficient in data analysis, adept at integrating disparate datasets to extract meaningful insights.

  • Experience in developing presentations for an executive audience and able to convey complex information in a coherent and insightful manner.

  • A self-motivated person who completes tasks accurately and with efficiency.

  • Comfortable navigating an unstructured environment, with an aptitude for wearing multiple hats and adapting to change.

  • Very organized, system and process driven, and can multitask between tasks

  • Strong written and verbal communication


About the work environment:

Peoples Group offers a flexible and hybrid work environment. In this role you will work a combination of in-office and remotely from home. Typically, you'll be working regular business hours, Monday to Friday between 8:00am and 4:30pm with flexibility around start/end times.

Compensation:

The expected salary for this role is approximately $120,000.00 - $140,000.00 annually. Actual compensation may vary based on experience, skills, and qualifications.
