BAE Systems is seeking an experienced and energetic Portfolio Engineering Lead (PEL) to help lead our established and rapidly expanding engineering team in the CEMA Business Area. We are looking for a PEL who can coordinate and manage the engineering activities and is interested in a leadership role in a growing Product Line. The successful candidate will serve as a PEL working as part of the Engineering Leadership team for the Advanced Compact EW Solutions (ACES) Product Line. ACES is a diverse and growing product line with several advanced technology development programs as well as high-rate production programs with a common mission to protect the warfighter.

- Experience leading diverse multi-disciplinary teams in the solution of complex technical problems
- Project engineering management including organizational design, planning, estimating, design management, and product verification
- Experience in developing engineering estimates and applying project management principles inclusive of scope management, resource planning, and management of risks and opportunities.
- Experience in leadership, building internal and external partnerships, growing team members and partnering with the business.
Preferred Skills and Education- Direct experience supporting Department of Defense Classified Development Programs
- Experience using Design to Cost (DTC) methods; leading to technical solutions that meet affordability and producibility requirements
