Job Description

Position Summary

The Engineering Manager will lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers dedicated to the research, development, and operational support of microelectronic fabrication and RF (Radio Frequency) technology. This role is critical in bridging the gap between advanced product design and high-yield manufacturing, ensuring that microelectronic components meet the stringent performance and reliability requirements necessary for RF applications. The manager will oversee the design of new processes, the optimization of existing production lines, and the implementation of rigorous test procedures to maintain a competitive edge in microelectronic technology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Leadership & Strategy: Lead and manage a team of electronics, electrical, and materials engineers. Analyze emerging technology trends in microelectronics and RF to drive innovation and maintain technical superiority in product development.
  • Product & Process Development: Oversee the end-to-end development of microelectronic components. Lead the design and implementation of new fabrication processes and the modification of existing workflows to improve yield, performance, and scalability.
  • RF Technology Integration: Ensure all microelectronic designs are optimized for RF support, focusing on signal integrity, impedance matching, and the mitigation of parasitic effects within the factory environment.
  • Testing & Validation: Develop and approve comprehensive test procedures for wafer-level and package-level validation. Oversee the transition from prototype to full-scale production, including the design of automated test equipment (ATE) and environmental stress screening.
  • Operational Excellence: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce cycle time and defect rates. Perform root-cause analysis on production failures and implement corrective actions to ensure product reliability.
  • Field & System Integration: Manage the field-testing of integrated systems to validate that microelectronic components perform as expected in real-world RF environments.
  • Resource Management: Manage budget allocations for laboratory equipment and tooling; mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of technical excellence and professional growth.
