The RoleThis position is intended for the parts master office and vendor information request project management for the submarine programs. The incumbent will be responsible for Leading and Managing a team of engineers, engineering technicians and configuration analysts. This position regularly communicates with Navy, Construction Departments, Supply Chain, and Engineers/Designers across Departments via email, phone, and in person meetings.
Must HaveBachelor's Degree and 6 years of progressive technical experience in research, engineering and design; Master's Degree and 4 years of relevant experience.
Newport News Shipbuilding requires a Bachelor's Degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program.
