Summary:

In this role, you will lead and manage a team of Spend Analysts focused on identifying and quantifying spend management opportunities for Vizient client hospitals and health systems. You will oversee day-to-day operations, guide analytical priorities, and support the delivery of high-quality insights that strengthen value creation for clients. You will collaborate with Spend Managers, Spend Executives, and cross-functional teams to improve operational effectiveness, enhance analytical processes, and support strategic initiatives across Spend Management Delivery.

Responsibilities:
• Lead and develop a high-performing team of Spend Analysts aligned with solving client challenges.
• Oversee day-to-day operations and manage workload prioritization across the analyst team.
• Coordinate staffing and resource allocation to support workload demands and business objectives.
• Provide personnel management support, including coaching, performance management, employee development, and talent acquisition activities.
• Ensure consistent application of organizational policies, procedures, and standardized analytical processes.
• Review detailed line-item analyses and reports to ensure accuracy, quality, and timely delivery.
• Present analytical findings, methodologies, and process updates to internal stakeholders and clients.
• Collaborate with internal partners to clarify analytical support needs, project priorities, and business updates.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives to identify process enhancements, standardization opportunities, and automation solutions.
• Serve as a business content expert and liaison for technology initiatives, existing applications, and analyst training programs.

Qualifications:
• Relevant degree preferred.
• 5 or more years of relevant experience required; healthcare analytics, supply chain, or financial analysis preferred.
• Experience managing people, teams, and/or complex projects preferred.
• Strong understanding of quantitative and qualitative data assessment and business analysis.
• Ability to coach, mentor, and develop team members in a collaborative environment.
• Strong organizational, project management, and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Ability to interpret policies and ensure consistent application of organizational standards and procedures.
• Willingness to travel.

Estimated Hiring Range:
At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $88,900.00 to $155,500.00.

This position is also incentive eligible.
