Job Responsibilities

Directs and provides assistance to plan, organize, direct and coordinate the delivery of health services. Provides assistance to develop and implement related policies and procedures. Monitors and evaluates healthcare programs. Directs subordinate managers and staff.

The TB Program Manager will provide overall leadership and oversight of the county tuberculosis prevention and control program; supervise program staff; monitor TB surveillance, case management, contact investigations, and treatment activities; ensure compliance with state and federal requirements; analyze program data.
Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in health care services or related field from an accredited college or university and four (4) years of professional managerial or supervisory experience in health care services; or two (2) years of experience at the lower level Mgr 2, Hlth Care (HCM011) or position equivalent. Note: Some positions may require certification and/or licensure.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Social Work, or a related field and a master's degree in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Business Administration, or a related field. Five (5) or more years of progressive experience managing HIV prevention, care, or public health programs. At least three (3) years of supervisory experience managing multidisciplinary teams.
