"Skills and Responsibilities

"Must-Have Skills:

  • Strong hands-on experience with IBM Sterling File Gateway (SFG), B2B Integrator, CCM, SSP-CM, and SEAS.
  • Strong knowledge of file-transfer protocols including FTP, SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS, and AS2.
  • Proficiency with Unix/Linux and shell scripting.
  • Experience supporting enterprise production and MFT environments.
  • Strong troubleshooting, incident management, and root-cause analysis skills.


Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Experience with Dynatrace monitoring and log analysis.
  • Exposure to container platforms such as OpenShift.
  • Familiarity with GitHub, YAML, and DevSecOps practices.
  • Experience with ServiceNow-based change management.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure and maintain Trading Partners, routing rules, services, adapters, and Business Processes (BP) within IBM Sterling.
  • Support deployments involving code changes, maps, configurations, and BP updates.
  • Monitor file-transfer flows, queues, BP execution, system health, and availability.
  • Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and resolve incidents within SLA timelines.
  • Provide L2 production support for IBM Sterling File Gateway and related Managed File Transfer components.
  • Configure and support security/encryption technologies including PGP, SSL, and SSH.
  • Support production environments through rotational 24/7 on-call coverage.
  • Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and security teams.
  • Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.
  • Participate in change and incident management activities using ServiceNow."
