Job SummaryLead end-to-end GE Proficy MES solution delivery across manufacturing sites by translating business and operational requirements into scalable, integrated MES architectures. Act as the primary MES subject matter expert and drive smart manufacturing and Industry 4.0 initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Lead end-to-end GE Proficy MES solution delivery including requirement gathering, design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
- Serve as the primary MES subject matter expert for manufacturing sites and stakeholders.
- Translate business and operational requirements into scalable MES solution designs.
- Define solution architecture, data flows, workflows, and integration patterns with ERP, SCADA/PLC, historians, IoT platforms, and quality systems.
- Optimize manufacturing processes using MES capabilities including:
- Work order dispatching
- Production tracking and execution
- Quality management
- Material management and traceability
- OEE and performance reporting
- Lead cross-functional teams including developers, analysts, system integrators, and plant IT resources.
- Manage MES platform roadmap, upgrades, governance, and performance optimization.
- Ensure compliance with ISA-95, ISA-88, and industry best practices.
- Support incident resolution, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with OT and automation teams to ensure seamless shop-floor integration.
- Drive Industry 4.0, smart manufacturing, and digital transformation programs.
Required Skills & Experience- Strong hands-on experience with GE Proficy MES solutions.
- Deep understanding of manufacturing execution systems and shop-floor operations.
- Experience integrating MES with ERP, PLC/SCADA, historians, and IoT platforms.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, data flows, and system architecture.
- Experience leading large-scale MES implementations and upgrades.
- Familiarity with ISA-95 and ISA-88 standards.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
