This position reports to:Production Engineering Manager
Your role and responsibilities In this role, you will have the opportunity to implement the operating model to facilitate efficient and effective operations of the Digital Platform team and its interactions with different stakeholders. Each day, you will deploy and maintain the digital platform components, including integration, testing, and supporting. You will also showcase your expertise by monitoring applications and services deployed in production and act on issues to ensure Service Level Agreements are met.
The work model for the role is onsite in Richmond, VA. #LI-Onsite
This role is contributing to the
Critical Power Product Group in North America.
You will be mainly accountable for:- Contributing to ensure that all the operational processes are executed and implemented efficiently across the entire platform.
- Processing platform optimizations and business growth independently through continuous technical development.
- Creating a DevOps 'continuous integration' capability, in the way the platform is developed and integrated with apps.
- Assisting with the analysis of existing performance, seeking opportunities to enhance offerings, making recommendations underpinned by data and customer driven insights.
Qualifications for the role - You have 3-5 years years of experience in Computer and Data science engineering
- Experience in Designing and Implementing Manufacturing Execution system (MES) in discrete manufacturing industry on real time basis
- Possess an enhanced knowledge of MySQL, Web and HTML, Java, C#, UI, .NET Framework, Python, MQTT, OPC UA
- Knowledge of integrating barcode scanners, Torque tools, badge readers, Printers with MES and API for open source software's.
- Experience in design and management of physical and cloud servers
- Candidates must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
While base salary is determined by things such as the successful applicant's qualifications and experience, this position is expected to pay between $68,600 and $109,760 annually.
