Overview

The Merchandiser, North America (HEYDUDE) is responsible for driving channel success through the development and execution of product and assortment strategies. This role will manage our Independents & Energy businesses and partner closely with category management, planning, sales, and cross-functional teams to shape the product vision, optimize assortments, and deliver data-driven insights that support business growth. Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Merchandising, this role plays a key part in aligning product strategies with overall category and regional objectives.

What You'll Do

  • Drive seasonal and quarterly assortment strategies by partnering with category management, sales, and planning to identify growth opportunities, whitespace, and channel-specific assortment expansion needs
  • Manage end-to-end assortment development, optimizing style/SKU productivity, depth, and breadth based on demand signals, performance data, and channel requirements
  • Continuously analyze market, competitive landscape, pricing architecture, and consumer trends to inform assortment decisions, product positioning, and merchandising strategies
  • Translate data-driven insights into clear merchandising recommendations
  • Create and maintain key account assortments tailored to retailer strategies, ensuring alignment to consumer demand, channel segmentation, and long-term growth objectives
  • Leverage merchandising tools, reporting systems, and dashboards to improve visibility into performance, streamline assortment planning, and enable faster decision-making
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Planning, and Channel teams to align on assortment direction, product storytelling, and in-market execution
  • Achieve channel goals by translating sales trends, retailer insights, and inventory signals into actionable merchandising strategies that optimize productivity across channel.

Salary or Pay Range: $78,000 - $88,000

Pay offered will vary based on job-related factors such as location, experience, training, skills, and abilities.

Your participation in this flexible schedule plays a key role in building a connected and successful team. In-office requirements vary by our work personas: Resident (5 days), Collaborator (4 days), Connector (2-3 days), Explorer (fully remote). This role has been aligned to the Collaborator persona.
