Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, Construction Management, or relevant MEP subcontractor preconstruction experience.
• 2-5 years of preconstruction experience in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and/or building automation systems.
• Ability to read and understand various engineering plans and specifications.
• Familiarity with MEP systems and equipment concepts and practices.
• Outstanding communication and time management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to change.
• Strong organizational skills for effective meeting management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage MEP preconstruction activities, involving estimating and design management.
• Communicate with vendors, engineers, clients, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.
• Prepare and explain comparative analyses of project estimates.
• Coordinate teams to develop complete scopes of work for MEP systems.
• Analyze bid proposals from subcontractors and vendors, providing award recommendations.
• Train and develop preconstruction engineers on MEP technical and non-technical aspects.
• Lead RFP responses and represent the company at meetings and events.
• Create and present project deliverables and tools to clients.
