Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience writing high-quality, production code
• Proven experience with high-performance, large-scale distributed systems
• Strong skills in cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP)
• Deep understanding of OS architecture including Linux kernel and file systems
• Experience in performance optimization with a focus on measurable results
• Must be able to work in-person from the Toronto office
• Rust programming experience is a plus but not mandatory

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-performance systems for our platform
• Implement VM snapshotting to enable rapid browser state restoration
• Analyze kernel traces to engineer and enhance the Sessions API
• Manage orchestration of millions of browser sessions with minimal latency
• Handle tasks related to VMs, proxies, caches, and orchestration systems
• Build observability and CI/CD stacks from the ground up
