We9re seeking a Member of Technical Staff for Genomics to lead our genomics bench, pushing its capabilities to the frontier of what artificial intelligence can achieve in biology.
About the RoleYou will design our technical approach to teaching agents how to understand and handle complex genomic data, mapping out end-to-end data analysis workflows and working from instrument outputs to real scientific decisions.
You will lead a team of software engineers and biologists building datasets to teach these agents to reason better across:
- Sequencing QC 1 alignment & assembly
- Variant calling & filtering
- Clinical variant interpretation
- Population genetics 1 algorithmic reasoning
Requirements- 5+ years hands-on experience with genomics or genetics data
- Experience in drug mechanism of action studies using population genomics
- Prior contribution to a novel genomics method, tool, or published pipeline
- Proficiency in Python and/or R
