Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Nurse Manager to lead our Medical Surgical nursing department. This role is responsible for delivering and directing safe, effective, and patient-centered care using the nursing process. The Nurse Manager oversees clinical and administrative operations, ensures staff competency, fosters a culture of collaboration, and drives quality outcomes aligned with organizational priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily operations and staff within the nursing unit
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care through assessment, planning, intervention, evaluation, and documentation
  • Serve as a clinical leader and resource to nursing staff and interdisciplinary teams
  • Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and service excellence
  • Recruit, orient, supervise, and evaluate staff performance
  • Develop and maintain department budget, staffing levels, and resource allocation
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory standards, and evidence-based practices
  • Lead and participate in quality improvement initiatives
  • Maintain effective communication with patients, families, staff, and physicians
  • Actively support employee growth, performance recognition, and disciplinary processes when needed
  • Participate in community outreach and organizational representation as assigned


Qualifications:
