Responsibilities

What You'll Be Doing

As an MSL, you will serve as a trusted scientific partner to key opinion leaders, academic institutions, and healthcare professionals throughout your region. Responsibilities include:
  • Building and maintaining strategic relationships with ophthalmology and optometry KOLs
  • Leading compliant scientific exchange and disease state education
  • Delivering clinical and scientific presentations to healthcare providers and stakeholders
  • Gathering actionable field insights and communicating them to internal teams
  • Supporting medical education initiatives, advisory boards, publications, and investigator-initiated research
  • Participating in regional and national scientific congresses and professional society meetings
  • Collaborating closely with Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, Commercial, and Market Access teams
  • Supporting clinical trial activities and broader medical strategy initiatives


Qualifications

What We're Looking For
  • OD, MD, PharmD, or PhD required
  • Prior MSL experience required
  • Ophthalmology or eye care expertise preferred
  • Candidates with significant clinical eye care experience and industry exposure will also be considered
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to translate complex scientific information into meaningful discussions
  • Strong strategic thinking and insight-gathering capabilities
  • Self-motivated, collaborative, and comfortable working independently in a field-based role
Territory

The territory includes: Southern California, Nevada, and Hawaii.

Candidates will ideally be located in: Los Angeles, Orange County, or San Diego. Candidates should reside within the territory, preferably near a major airport.
Travel

This is a field-based role requiring approximately 60-80% travel.
