ResponsibilitiesWhat You'll Be DoingAs an MSL, you will serve as a trusted scientific partner to key opinion leaders, academic institutions, and healthcare professionals throughout your region. Responsibilities include:
- Building and maintaining strategic relationships with ophthalmology and optometry KOLs
- Leading compliant scientific exchange and disease state education
- Delivering clinical and scientific presentations to healthcare providers and stakeholders
- Gathering actionable field insights and communicating them to internal teams
- Supporting medical education initiatives, advisory boards, publications, and investigator-initiated research
- Participating in regional and national scientific congresses and professional society meetings
- Collaborating closely with Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, Commercial, and Market Access teams
- Supporting clinical trial activities and broader medical strategy initiatives
QualificationsWhat We're Looking For- OD, MD, PharmD, or PhD required
- Prior MSL experience required
- Ophthalmology or eye care expertise preferred
- Candidates with significant clinical eye care experience and industry exposure will also be considered
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to translate complex scientific information into meaningful discussions
- Strong strategic thinking and insight-gathering capabilities
- Self-motivated, collaborative, and comfortable working independently in a field-based role
TerritoryThe territory includes: Southern California, Nevada, and Hawaii.
Candidates will ideally be located in: Los Angeles, Orange County, or San Diego. Candidates should reside within the territory, preferably near a major airport.
TravelThis is a field-based role requiring approximately 60-80% travel.
