Description

Responsibilities:

  • Independently establish and maintain meaningful scientific relationships with movement disorder specialists, neurologists, neurosurgeons, allied healthcare professionals, academic institutions, medical societies, and patient advocacy organizations.
  • Execute and support a cohesive and effective scientific communication and community-building strategy across multiple channels, including peer-to-peer scientific exchange, congresses, publications, presentations, investigator meetings, educational programs, and other initiatives.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in movement disorders and focused ultrasound technology, maintaining a high level of scientific and clinical knowledge.
  • Engage in high-level scientific exchange with external stakeholders to ensure consistent and meaningful medical and scientific presence.
  • Deliver accurate, balanced, and tailored scientific information to healthcare providers.
  • Represent the Company at scientific congresses and medical meetings, including proactive preparation, scientific exchange, insight collection, and support of Company activities as appropriate.
  • Support clinical research activities by collaborating on study concepts and protocols, identifying and evaluating potential investigators and study sites, and assisting with the execution of clinical studies to ensure timely and high-quality evidence generation and dissemination.
  • Develop a strong understanding of Company scientific and strategic priorities to ensure medical activities are aligned with relevant clinical and educational needs.
  • Ensure all activities are conducted in compliance with applicable regulations, guidelines, and Company policies.


Skills and Experience:

  • PhD, MD, or equivalent advanced health science degree
  • Strong scientific background and clinical understanding of movement disorders highly preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience within the medical device and/or biopharmaceutical industry; prior MSL experience preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to engage confidently and credibly with scientific leaders, including physicians, scientists, and academic stakeholders
  • Experience in clinical research, including study design, data collection/analysis/interpretation, and evidence dissemination, with a record of academic scholarship and peer-reviewed publications
  • Proven ability to critically evaluate, synthesize, and clearly communicate complex scientific data
  • Comfortable operating in a dynamic, evolving environment with limited structure, requiring a high degree of autonomy, judgement, and adaptability
  • Highly self-directed with demonstrated ability to build strategy, processes, and relationships in situations where direction may be broad rather than prescriptive
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively (at least 60%, including some international travel)
