The Medical Physicist serves as a subject matter expert in medical physics and molecular imaging, partnering with sponsors, imaging sites, and internal teams to optimize imaging quality, site performance, and data integrity across global clinical trials. What You'll Be Doing
  • Provide expert medical physics guidance to support imaging site qualification, monitoring, and quality assurance activities for clinical trials utilizing molecular imaging techniques.
  • Participate in imaging protocol design and collaborate with internal imaging, medical affairs, and project teams to ensure scientifically sound imaging strategies.
  • Define and evaluate imaging requirements, critical qualification data, quality control measures, and remediation plans for imaging sites.
  • Review and develop site qualification documentation, procedures, forms, and technical guidance materials.
  • Support imaging sites, technologists, and physicists by providing technical consultation throughout the site qualification process and study lifecycle.
  • Conduct imaging data analysis, quantitative image measurements, biodistribution assessments, radiation dose evaluations, and other medical physics analyses.
  • Monitor technical imaging quality for submitted examinations and identify opportunities for continuous quality improvement.
  • Maintain and enhance internal databases of qualified imaging centers and imaging quality programs.
  • Communicate scientific and operational updates to sponsors, senior leadership, project teams, and imaging stakeholders.
  • Develop and deliver educational presentations related to medical physics, molecular imaging, site qualification, and imaging best practices.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with imaging equipment vendors, imaging scientists, and industry experts to support imaging optimization efforts.
  • Contribute to scientific publications, conference presentations, investigator meetings, and industry forums that showcase Clario's medical imaging expertise.
  • Ensure compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP), study protocols, regulatory requirements, company policies, and Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Maintain confidentiality of study information, safeguard imaging data and equipment, and document activities accurately and completely.
  • Support departmental initiatives, process improvement activities, team collaboration, and other responsibilities as assigned.


What We Look For
  • MSc or PhD in Medical Physics, Radiation Physics, or a related scientific discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a hospital imaging department or comparable clinical imaging environment.
  • Experience supporting molecular imaging, PET imaging, nuclear medicine, radiation dosimetry, or related imaging modalities.
  • Knowledge of clinical research, clinical trial operations, and Good Clinical Practice (GCP).
  • Experience within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, contract research organization (CRO), or medical imaging industry preferred.
  • Experience defining, evaluating, and remediating imaging requirements for multicenter imaging studies preferred.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative imaging skills, including image acquisition, processing, analysis, and quality assurance.
  • Ability to interpret imaging protocols and provide technical consultation to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and relationship management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with project teams, sponsors, investigators, imaging sites, and external partners.
  • Teaching, training, or scientific presentation experience is a plus.
  • Ability to travel as required for client meetings, investigator meetings, scientific conferences, and imaging site activities.
