Job Title: Medical Liaison
Location: San Francisco Bay Area (full-time; onsite)
Pay: $85,000/year + Incentive Bonus Plan
Who Are We Looking For?
We are currently seeking a Medical Liaison to build, strengthen, and expand our referral network in the Bay Area and Northern California by cultivating meaningful relationships with physicians, medical practices, and provider groups. As the primary point of contact for referring providers in Northern California, this individual will promote clinical services, facilitate education, and ensure seamless communication between practices and the organization. The Medical Liaison will also collaborate with leadership to identify strategic opportunities, support Affiliate Provider development, and drive community engagement through outreach, clinic tours, and events. By fostering trust and collaboration across the medical community, this role plays a vital part in advancing patient referrals, enhancing provider partnerships, and supporting the organization's overall growth.
This is an onsite position that involves travel between different clinic and community locations throughout Northern California.Key Responsibilities- Build and maintain relationships with medical practices, providers, and clinical office staff to strengthen the referral network, including identifying and engaging physicians for advanced training opportunities with our team.
- Cultivate relationships with clinical practices, medical groups, and provider networks, facilitating introductions to leadership and our practice management committee for strategic partnership and growth opportunities.
- Expand the referral funnel by actively engaging community physicians through office visits, clinic tours, and participation in community events.
- Provide physicians with education and resources on anaphylaxis management, clinical programs, and digital patient education tools.
- Identify and recommend physicians for Affiliate Provider opportunities and support leadership in developing these partnerships to advance patient recruitment and clinical billing activities at Affiliate Clinic sites.
- Conduct regular in-person visits and check-ins with physician offices to provide updates, address concerns, and strengthen partnerships.
- Promote the organization's clinical services, specialties, and programs to community physicians.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase patient referrals and expand market presence.
- Serve as a resource for physicians and office staff, ensuring seamless communication and resolution of issues related to referrals, scheduling, and patient experience.
- Collaborate with internal leadership, marketing, and clinical teams to align outreach efforts with organizational goals.
- Track and report referral patterns, relationship activity, and business development outcomes.
- Stay informed on competitor activity, industry trends, and market opportunities.

Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2+ years of experience in pharmaceutical sales, physician relations, healthcare business development, or a related healthcare sales role preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, relationship-building, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize outreach activities.
- Knowledge of healthcare services, referral processes, and medical practice operations is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency with Google Suite and CRM or referral management software.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel throughout the region.
- Professional presence with excellent presentation skills.
- Ability to build trust and credibility with physicians and healthcare staff.
- Goal-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
