Seattle, WAWork Schedule: 7 on 7 off: Thursday to Wednesday 9:30PM-8:00AM
Location: supporting Cherry Hill and Ballard laboratory locations
Job Responsibilities:- Determine the acceptability of specimens for testing according to established criteria
- Perform routine and complex technical procedures and functions according to departmental Standard Operating Procedures
- Monitor, operate and troubleshoot instrumentation to ensure proper functionality
- Demonstrate the ability to make technical decisions regarding testing and problem solving
- Prepare, test and evaluate new reagents or controls
- Report accurate and timely test results in order to deliver quality patient care
- Perform and document preventative maintenance and quality control procedures
- Identify and replenish testing bench supplies as necessary
- Assist with processing of specimens when needed
- Maintain a safe work environment and wear appropriate personal protective equipment
Minimum Qualifications:- Bachelor's Degree in Life Science, Medical Technology
- ASCP or AMT certification

- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
- Ability to provide coverage at both Cherry Hill and Ballard laboratory based on operational and patient care needs
- Exceptional customer service
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
- Comfortable working under minimal supervision
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
**Pay Range: $34.25 -$52.14 per hourPlus 3RD shift differentialAll job offers will be based on a candidate's skills and prior relevant experience and the terms of the collective bargaining agreement between Dynacare Northwest, Inc. and United Food and Commercial Workers Union, Local 21.
