Donor Center Equipment Manager

Location: Clayton Manufacturing Facility (with occasional U.S. travel)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Medical (Donor Center) Equipment Manager to oversee the planning, coordination, and lifecycle management of equipment supporting our plasma collection operations. This role serves as a key liaison between business stakeholders, procurement teams, vendors, and operational partners to ensure donor centers have the equipment and technical support needed to operate efficiently and compliantly.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise, equipment management experience, vendor coordination skills, and a customer-service mindset to support business operations across a dynamic and growing network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the full lifecycle of donor center equipment, including planning, deployment, maintenance, upgrades, and retirement.
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize equipment asset management systems and associated KPIs.
  • Partner with business stakeholders and vendors to define equipment requirements and operational needs.
  • Coordinate with Procurement regarding equipment sourcing, agreements, logistics, and equipment changes.
  • Oversee the Virtual Donor Center (VDC), including testing, upgrades, validation activities, and implementation of new equipment and processes.
  • Manage the repair depot for collection center instruments, including:
    • Troubleshooting equipment issues
    • Repairing and upgrading units when appropriate
    • Coordinating shipments
    • Maintaining appropriate inventory levels at collection sites
  • Serve as an administrative super user and subject matter expert for assigned equipment and systems.
  • Support compliance initiatives and ensure adherence to equipment-related procedures and standards.
  • Manage incoming support requests and respond to technical and functional inquiries.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to support system enhancements and operational improvements.
  • Assist with change management initiatives and implementation projects.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

Required
  • Minimum 8 years of related experience in equipment management, operations support, technical systems, device management, or a similar field.
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • Device operations
    • Equipment maintenance and support
    • Inventory management
    • Asset lifecycle management
    • Vendor management
  • Ability to analyze equipment costs, utilization, and inventory needs.
  • Experience defining business requirements and communicating technical needs to vendors and stakeholders.
  • Strong troubleshooting and technical repair capabilities.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.


Preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, Business Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • Experience supporting healthcare, laboratory, plasma collection, manufacturing, or regulated environments.
