Full Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTION:

This position requires ability to travel onsite, as the work arrangement is hybrid remote with 75% of time onsite and 25% remote.

The Medical Dosimetrist is a member of the Radiation Oncology team, who brings expertise and knowledge necessary to generate radiation therapy treatment plans in collaboration with the Radiation Oncologist and Medical Physicist. The Dosimetrist is an active member of the radiation oncology team and participates in quality assurance and quality improvement activities. The Dosimetrist is expected to work with radiation therapists in patient simulation and ensuring plan deliverability on the treatment machines.

EDUCATION:

Requires a Master's, Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in Medical Dosimetry or related Sciences.

CMD certification is required upon eligibility.

EXPERIENCE:

2 years of dosimetry experience preferred.

SCHEDULE:

This position works five 8-hour or four 10-hour weekdays. Call is not required for this position.

SIGN-ON BONUS and RELOCATION ASSISTANCE:

External candidates are eligible for a sign on bonus which ranges from $3,000-5,000 based on years of experience. Current employees of the UVM Medical Health Network are not eligible for this bonus. Additional terms and conditions apply.

We also have relocation assistance available as well as temporary employee housing. Eligible candidates who live more than 50 miles from UVM Medical Center would receive $9,200 in relocation assistance.
