Full Job Description
What You'll Do
Lead with compassion: Guide and support clinical teams in delivering comprehensive, unrushed care to Frontier members.
Mentor and support: Provide clinical oversight, coaching, and ongoing training to advanced practice providers and the nurse manager.
Collaborate with care: Manage a split patient panel alongside a Lead PCP, ensuring continuity and quality of care.
Build great teams: Hire and retain providers who share our commitment to integrity, empathy, and patient-first care.
Shape the practice: Work closely with the Chief Medical Officer and leadership team to fine-tune workflows and build a thriving, sustainable care model.
Oversee operations: Manage the daily needs of your clinic location, including budget, inventory, and staff coordination.
Foster a connected culture: Lead weekly team meetings that encourage open dialogue, innovation, and shared problem-solving.
Maintain high standards: Ensure that all care is delivered in accordance with state and federal compliance, safety regulations, and our internal standards of excellence.
Drive improvement: Provide quarterly feedback to your team and support ongoing initiatives to strengthen the quality of care and team experience.
Requirements
MD or DO from an accredited institution
Active and unrestricted medical license to practice in Texas
Board certification in Family Medicine
3-5 years of experience in a family practice or primary care setting
Active DEA registration
Demonstrated leadership experience-whether mentoring a small team or managing a clinic
A working knowledge of healthcare compliance, patient safety, and regulatory requirements
A genuine passion for relationship-based care and a desire to lead by example
