Surgical Oncologist to join our team.
Program Development & Market Competitiveness: Lead initiatives to grow and enhance cancer services, ensuring the institute remains at the forefront of innovation, patient outcomes, and market presence.
Academic and Teaching Opportunities: Serve as a mentor and educator by teaching residents through an academic affiliation with Northwestern Medicine. A faculty appointment is available for those interested in engaging with medical education.
Research: Drive oncology research initiatives by partnering with Northwestern Medicine and BayCare's established research infrastructure. The Medical Director will collaborate with oncologists and research leaders facilitating access to innovative trials and advancing cancer treatment.

QualificationsCandidate Qualifications:- Clinical Experience - minimum 10 years
- Executive Leadership Experience in a healthcare setting - minimum 2 years
- Masters - Healthcare Administration or Business Administration is preferred
- Board Certification by The American Board of Internal Medicine, Medical Oncology and Hematology or Board Certification by The American Board of Surgery
- Ability to obtain a Florida Medical License
