Job Summary and Responsibilities

As a National Internal Traveler RN, you will be a direct clinical registered nurse providing independent patient care within your scope of practice.

Daily, you will utilize your advanced patient care skills, continuously enhancing your nursing knowledge, skills, and behaviors through education and involvement beyond basic job requirements.

Success in this role requires exceptional clinical expertise, strong adaptability, a proactive approach to professional development, and a steadfast commitment to independent, high-quality patient care in dynamic settings.
  • EBP and Patient Care
      • Utilizes current evidence based practice knowledge, the nursing process, critical thinking and problem solving skills to provide holistic care to individuals across the life span and care continuum.

      • Incorporates evidence when initiating changes to nursing practice.
  • Interprofessional Collaboration and Communication
      • Collaborates and communicates with the interprofessional team to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes.

      • Uses the unique and complementary abilities of all members of the team to optimize attainment of desired outcomes.
  • Leadership
      • Maintains accountability for own practice, delegated care, and the coordination of care delivery.

Job Requirements

Required
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as registered nurse in specialty area(s) (e.g., medical/surgical, telemetry, intensive care, emergency department, operating room, post-anesthesia recovery, pediatrics, maternal-child health) and
  • Associate Of Nursing, upon hire or
  • Registered Nurse: CA, upon hire and
  • Basic Life Support - CPR, (Provided by AHA)


Preferred
  • Bachelors Of Science in Nursing (BSN), upon hire
