Qualifications

• Technical certification or degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (preferred)
• 5+ years of hands-on mechanical repair experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, tools, and diagnostic equipment
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced work environment
• Proficient in maintenance management systems and Microsoft Office Suite
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without employer-sponsored work authorization

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of mechanical technicians and apprentices, assigning tasks and monitoring repair progress
• Diagnose mechanical issues and provide technical guidance for complex repairs
• Maintain accurate repair documentation and coordinate with inventory for part availability
• Train and mentor team members to improve technical skills and productivity
• Conduct regular inspections of tools, equipment, and workstations
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to optimizing processes
