General Foreman

$40/hr - $50/hr Per Diem (If Eligible) + Vehicle or Vehicle Allowance + Benefits + Career Development Opportunities

What You'll Lead
  • Oversee and coordinate daily field operations for assigned projects
  • Supervise craft professionals, subcontractors, and field personnel to ensure successful project execution
  • Provide practical and technical direction related to project scope and installation activities
  • Adhere to project schedules and drive timely completion within budget expectations
  • Maintain close communication with Project Management regarding budgets, productivity, customer concerns, and change conditions
  • Develop and execute a project Master Plan to support field success
  • Execute, supervise, and maintain project planning and scheduling activities
  • Develop and manage daily, weekly, and short-interval work plans
  • Coordinate material, tool, and equipment requisitions to support project productivity
  • Ensure quality craftsmanship and installation excellence across all project activities
  • Monitor workforce performance and maintain high standards of productivity and accountability
  • Maintain proper journeyman-to-apprentice ratios and support workforce development
  • Promote, mentor, and develop employees at all trade and experience levels
  • Ensure compliance with applicable codes, project specifications, and quality standards
  • Maintain current drawings and project documentation ready for review and inspection
  • Support conflict resolution and field issue management
  • Partner with Corporate Safety and Operations teams to maintain a safe work environment
  • Serve as a customer liaison and support positive client relationships
  • Drive project closeout activities and ensure successful completion of assigned scope
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

  • Proven experience leading crews and field operations on commercial, industrial, or mechanical construction projects
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, scheduling, planning, and workforce management
  • Demonstrated leadership and mentoring abilities
  • Knowledge of project budgeting, productivity management, and resource allocation
  • Ability to coordinate multiple crews, subcontractors, and project priorities simultaneously
  • Strong understanding of construction safety requirements and industry best practices
  • Experience reading and interpreting drawings, specifications, and project documentation
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong customer service and relationship-building abilities
  • Commitment to quality craftsmanship and continuous improvement
  • Ability to make sound decisions and effectively resolve field challenges

Physical Requirements
  • Work indoors and outdoors in varying environmental conditions
  • Work in dusty, noisy, hazardous, elevated, and confined work environments
  • Climb, balance, kneel, squat, crouch, and work from varying positions
  • Work in all weather conditions as project requirements dictate
  • Maintain working knowledge of construction tools, materials, and equipment
  • Lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding work throughout the day
  • Travel throughout active construction sites as required
