Mechanical Engineer

Tucson, AZ

Job Description

The Mechanical Engineer will work on the design of new and existing high-altitude balloons, stratocraft, launch equipment, and other subsystems.

Role Responsibilities
  • Work cross functionally with Engineering and Design teams to develop new and existing products
  • Reviews design specifications and project requirements
  • Evaluates performance issues through troubleshooting and failure investigation
  • Creates detailed design schematics through the use of design software
  • Field testing flight hardware with assistance from the operations team
