Mechanical Engineer who thrives on solving complex challenges and bringing innovative machinery to life. In this role, you will take ownership of mechanical systems from concept through commissioning, helping deliver solutions that perform in the toughest real-world conditions.
You'll work side-by-side with a collaborative team of engineers and manufacturing professionals to build equipment that makes a measurable impact on our customers' operations.
★ What You'll DoDesign & Build What Matters- Design and develop robust mechanical systems for large-scale pallet assembly automation
- Apply engineering fundamentals-materials, kinematics, and manufacturing processes-to create high-performance, practical solutions
- Develop detailed 3D models, drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation to support manufacturing and field performance
Collaborate to Deliver Complete Systems- Partner with electrical, controls, and manufacturing teams to integrate mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control systems
- Contribute to a team-first engineering culture by sharing knowledge and mentoring others
Test, Improve, and Optimize- Build and test prototypes, analyze performance data, and refine designs for reliability and efficiency
- Identify opportunities to improve machine performance, reduce costs, and streamline production
Ensure Quality and Reliability- Design with safety, durability, and uptime in mind
- Ensure all systems meet applicable standards, regulations, and customer expectations
★ What You'll BringEducation & Experience- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 5+ years of mechanical engineering experience
- Experience in automation machinery, capital equipment, or heavy equipment design
Technical Expertise- Proficiency in SolidWorks or similar CAD tools
- Strong understanding of mechanical design, structural systems, and materials selection
- Experience with structural steel, hydraulics, and pneumatic systems
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes such as machining, welding, and fabrication

- Organized and adaptable, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Nice to Have- Experience with pallet assembly, woodworking, or high-speed automation systems
- Familiarity with Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
- Experience with SolidWorks PDM or ERP systems
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or similar certification
Pay and benefitsThis is a full-time, in-office exempt position located in Blaine, MN.
Starting pay for this position is $90,000-$120,000 and complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as market conditions, level of experience and training, education, certifications, as well as internal and external equity.
