  • Manage engineering projects from concept to production while coordinating with sales, manufacturing, sourcing, and quality.
  • Collaborate with sourcing to develop comprehensive cost estimates for product modifications.
  • Assist customers and the sales team with detailed product installation information and application notes.
  • Contribute to the technical content of product literature by ensuring accuracy of performance data and operating instructions.

Full Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Engineer with a passion for continuous improvement and innovation.

Responsible for product engineering including material, design, detailing, manufacturability, product quality, competitiveness, and product profitability. Partners with Operations in their development of the manufacturing process. Works closely with Marketing and Sales to provide our customers with the best possible products.

This position is located at the facility in Mankato, MN.

Mechanical Engineer Skills/Abilities:

Mechanical Engineer Responsibilities:
  • Support new product development and product improvements of agricultural and snow removal equipment.
  • Design/Create 3-D models, assemblies, and 2-D prints as needed to validate concepts, detail designs, and communicate design intent.
  • Complete detailed assembly prints with full component bill of materials (BOMs) for new designs.
  • Submit engineering change requests (ECR) to release new parts and BOMs for product release.
  • Take concepts to production by managing engineering project activities and priorities while coordinating with sales, manufacturing, sourcing, and quality.
  • Work closely with sourcing to develop complete costs for new or modified products.
  • Support customers and sales team with precise information on product installation requirements and application notes.
  • Provide input on technical content of product literature ensuring accuracy of performance data, configurations, maintenance and operating instructions.
  • Provide frequent updates for manager on all product development activities including maintaining project schedule and status.


Mechanical Engineer Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of practical experience
