The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with electro-mechanical systems and has contributed to both prototype R&D efforts and full-scale commercial product development.

In this role, you will be directly responsible for developing and fabricating state-of-the-art technologies that power next-generation sensor systems. You will have opportunities for career growth through increased technical leadership and/or program management responsibilities. Candidates should demonstrate creative, out-of-the-box thinking, strong mechanical design capabilities, and a passion for hands-on development and testing.

This is an on-site role located in Torrance, CA

Responsibilities:
  • Engineering tasks will range from the design of one-off lab set-ups to low-mid volume production products, most often requiring designs from a systems-level and component level.

  • Well versed in a variety of manufacturing processes, including machining, rapid prototyping, injection molding, laser cutting, etc.
  • Generate detailed system/device specifications & manage specifications trade-offs to achieve complete functioning systems.

Requirements:
  • B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
