Full Job Description
What you'll do
  • Managing large and complex CAD assemblies
  • Modeling Class A surfaces and boat interiors
  • Releasing and designing structures
  • Designing boat interiors (upholstery, glove box, storage lockers, etc)
  • Designing marine systems (ballast, steering, bilge, coolant)
  • Owning hardware from start to finish, including specifications, design, prototyping, testing, and high-volume manufacturing
  • Supporting the industrial design of next generation products
  • Interfacing with suppliers and contractors
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related Engineering field
  • 2+ years of industry experience (internships count!)
  • Experience with Siemens NX and Teamcenter
  • Basic grasp of the fundamentals of Mechanical Engineering
  • Willingness to provide hands on support with fabrication and assembly
  • Ability to articulate and defend design decisions
Bonus Qualifications
  • Design for manufacturing experience with soft goods and composites fabrication
  • Experience with composite structures (ideally fiberglass) and soft goods
  • Experience with tool design
  • Clear written and verbal communication
  • Strong time management skills
  • Comfortable pushing at a fast but sustainable pace
  • Enthusiasm for boating and the water

What we offer

Salary between P1: $105,000 P2 $125,000 P3 $150,000
