What You'll Do
- Design, develop, test, and launch electromechanical systems, assemblies, and components
- Translate customer, regulatory, and business needs into safe, manufacturable designs
- Perform engineering analyses, including stress, fatigue, load, and performance calculations
- Support NPI from concept and prototyping through validation and launch readiness
- Improve existing products using field data, warranty trends, customer feedback, and manufacturing input
- Drive cost, reliability, safety, usability, and manufacturability improvements
- Partner with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, and suppliers to resolve issues and reduce lifecycle costs
- Create and maintain drawings, specifications, BOMs, test plans, and technical documentation
Qualifications & Experience
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
- Minimum 3 years of mechanical design and testing experience
- Experience with electromechanical systems, SolidWorks, and FEA software
- Strong understanding of statics, mechanics of materials, machine design, and fatigue analysis
- Experience with GD&T, blueprint interpretation, and manufacturing processes
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, project management, and communication skills
Environment: The job will be performed in an office environment (50%), test lab (20%) and in a manufacturing facility (30%).
Typical working hours: 8am to 5pm
Travel: Limited (<20%)
