You are expected to anticipate the needs of your teams and clients, and to deliver quality. Embracing increased ambiguity, you are comfortable when the path forward isn't clear, you ask questions, and you use these moments as opportunities to grow.

Examples of the skills, knowledge, and experiences you need to lead and deliver value at this level include but are not limited to:

  • Use a broad range of tools, methodologies and techniques to generate new ideas and solve problems.
  • Use critical thinking to break down complex concepts.

  • Develop a deeper understanding of the business context and how it is changing.
  • Use reflection to develop self awareness, enhance strengths and address development areas.
  • Interpret data to inform insights and recommendations.
  • Uphold and reinforce professional and technical standards (e.g. refer to specific PwC tax and audit guidance), the Firm's code of conduct, and independence requirements.

  • Background in working with multi-disciplinary teams to manage and troubleshoot several NPI cycles for high-volume consumer electronics, including onsite issue identification and resolution at manufacturing locations.

  • Broad, cross-functional understanding of and experience with the product development cycle, including timeline estimates, product execution, ability to see downstream effects of design decisions, perform risk assessment, and develop mitigation plans.

  • Ability to remain calm in the face of urgent product development requests and quickly resolve complex issues in creative, efficient, and effective ways.

  • Demonstrated ability to find compromises with high value designs that deliver maximum benefit for minimum risk and schedule impact.

  • Deep knowledge in several of the following: advanced surfacing, complex plastic injection-molding, castings, sheet metal design, additive manufacturing, rechargeable battery integration, mechanisms, IP ratings, testing, tooling, audio equipment, sensors, and cameras

  • Expertise with one or more CAD platforms (e.g., NX, SolidWorks, CREO, etc.)

  • Proven skills in product design, material selection, and tolerance, failure, and root cause analysis

  • Experience in developing functional specifications, design verification plans, and functional test procedures.

  • Demonstrated ability to learn and utilize PDM and PLM tools (e.g., TeamCenter, PDMworks, WindChill, Agile, Arena, etc.)

  • Broad, cross-functional understanding of product execution including ID, EE, ME/PD, and FW including consideration of design intent, product cost, transformation cost, and factory operations.
