Mechanical Engineer
Job Summary
As a Mechanical Engineer, you will play a key role in the design and coordination of mechanical
systems for mission-critical data centers and other high-performance facilities across the U.S. You will
collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of engineers and designers to develop innovative HVAC and
mechanical system designs that meet stringent reliability, redundancy, and energy-efficiency standards.

Key Responsibilities
• Develop detailed mechanical and HVAC designs, calculations, and construction documents for
mission-critical facilities.
• Perform system design and equipment selection for chilled water, air handling, and cooling
systems.
• Coordinate with electrical, structural, and controls disciplines to deliver integrated design
solutions.
• Review and approve shop drawings, submittals, and contractor RFI responses.
• Support field reviews and commissioning activities to ensure design intent and performance
requirements are met.
• Apply relevant codes and standards including ASHRAE, NFPA, SMACNA, IMC, and local
building codes.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to define scope, schedule, and technical requirements.
• Contribute to continuous process improvement and mentor junior staff where applicable.
Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution (Master's preferred).
• 3+ years of experience in HVAC and mechanical system design, preferably in mission-critical,
data center, or high-tech facilities.
• Strong understanding of mechanical system redundancy, energy efficiency, and load diversity
principles.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and HVAC design tools such as HAP, TRACE 700, or similar.
• Working knowledge of CFD analysis, energy modeling, or sustainability design practices is a
plus.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
• EIT certification required; PE license (or ability to obtain within 12 months) strongly preferred.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
