Responsibilities:- Develop spacecraft motion control and actuation systems
- Mechanical systems design including bearings, gears, motors, and rotating mechanisms
- High reliability mechanical design and analysis for aerospace applications
- Generate design documentation and vendor specifications
- Support assembly and test including environmental testing, shock, vibration and thermal
- Review test data and recommend changes to products and/or processes
Minimum Qualifications:- BS in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
- 2+ years of relevant industry experience designing moving mechanisms
- Proficient with computer aided design and analysis tools (SolidWorks preferred)
- Excellent reporting and presentation skills
- GD&T experience with drawings and assembly tolerance stack ups
Preferred Qualifications:- M.S. in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
- 3+ years of relevant industry experience
- Experience working in aerospace
- Experience with electronics packaging and wire harnessing
- Experience with moving mechanism design and analysis
Base Pay Range for:
CO applicants is $90,934.00 - $127,307.25
