Responsibilities

  • Develop spacecraft motion control and actuation systems
  • Design mechanical systems including bearings, gears, motors, and rotating mechanisms
  • Conduct high reliability mechanical design and analysis for aerospace applications
  • Generate design documentation and vendor specifications
  • Support assembly and testing including environmental testing, shock, vibration and thermal
  • Review test data and recommend changes to products and/or processes

  • Develop spacecraft motion control and actuation systems
  • Mechanical systems design including bearings, gears, motors, and rotating mechanisms

Minimum Qualifications:
  • BS in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
  • 2+ years of relevant industry experience designing moving mechanisms
  • Proficient with computer aided design and analysis tools (SolidWorks preferred)
  • Excellent reporting and presentation skills
  • GD&T experience with drawings and assembly tolerance stack ups


Preferred Qualifications:
  • M.S. in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
  • 3+ years of relevant industry experience
  • Experience working in aerospace
  • Experience with electronics packaging and wire harnessing
  • Experience with moving mechanism design and analysis


Base Pay Range for:
CO applicants is $90,934.00 - $127,307.25

Other site ranges may differ
