Description

We are seeking experienced Mechanical Engineers to support our rapid growth and expanding project portfolio. This role is primarily focused on design, requiring candidates to be proficient in the full product development lifecycle-from initial concept through prototyping and into production. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong foundation in engineering principles, practical design experience, and the ability to translate ideas into manufacturable solutions. Specific qualifications and requirements are outlined below.

Required Qualifications and Experience:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution
• Minimum experience requirements:

o Master's degree with 5+ years of relevant experience, or

o Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of relevant experience
• Experience developing Technical Data Packages (TDPs) in accordance with MIL-STD-31000 and applicable ASME standards
• Expert-level CAD modeling skills, with adherence to industry best practices (SolidWorks preferred)
• Eligible for and able to obtain a SECRET U.S. security clearance

Desired Experience:
• Structural and thermal analysis
• Primary structure design for military or defense systems
• Electronics packaging design
• Fluid system design
• Mechanism design
• Experience working within AS9100-certified environments and quality management systems
• CNC programming experience or close collaboration with machinists
• Hands-on experience building and testing prototypes, with a willingness to work in a lab/shop environment
• Ability to lead design efforts and guide cross-functional engineering teams through the product development lifecycle
