Full Job Description
Location: Tifton, GA-100% Onsite

This Mechanical Engineer III designs, fabricates, modifies and evaluates complex mechanical and electro-mechanical components, sub-systems and systems. The person in this position may also provide work leadership for lower level employees.

Duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Prepare design specifications, analyses and recommendations for presentation and approval.
  • Technical responsibility for planning, organizing and conducting technical projects or phases of projects involving design and development.
  • Coordinate the efforts of drafters/designers, engineering technicians and machine shop personnel as required by assigned projects.
  • Conduct independent technical investigations involving the origination or modification of material.


What We Are Looking For

  • Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering.
  • At least 5 years related experience is preferred.
  • Understanding of the practical application of engineering science and technology.
  • Experience with analytical and CAD software.
  • Requires knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.


What We Offer

Compensation: This is a salaried exempt role. The starting salary range for this role and market is between $96,800 - $127,000 annually. Factors that may affect starting salary include geography/market and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees in this role are also eligible for an annual bonus in accordance with the terms of the Company's applicable plan. Employees in this role are not eligible for overtime.
