Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited program is required.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Mechanical Engineering is necessary.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare-related mechanical design preferred.
• Proficiency in Revit and BIM tools for HVAC and plumbing design is essential.
• Strong knowledge of building codes and healthcare regulations is required.

Responsibilities

• Design and oversee HVAC-R, plumbing, medical gas and vacuum, and fire protection systems.
• Collaborate with architects and engineers to create integrated building solutions.
• Conduct facility assessments and oversee healthcare infrastructure commissioning.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare-specific standards throughout projects.
• Manage building automation systems and contribute to sustainability initiatives.
• Participate in planning and optimizing equipment layouts in healthcare facilities.
• Coordinate with project managers on scheduling and stakeholder communications.
