Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or similar, current OIQ status and valid passport (occasional travel required)
• 5+ years in a mechanical design role, preferably with electro-mechanical cabinets and suppliers
• Experience with heat exchangers, thermal management, seismic, transport, lifting, and welding applications
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and safe work practices
• Self-motivated, curious, and eager to learn new technologies
• Collaborative team player with excellent communication and leadership abilities
• Bilingual in English and French, with strong written and spoken skills

Responsibilities

• Develop mechanical solutions from proposal to installation, ensuring they meet customer requirements.
• Assist Sales by reviewing tech specifications and preparing cost estimates.
• Compile mechanical deliverables for projects on time and within budget, conforming to standards.
• Conduct site audits to collect installation data and identify constraints.
• Design solutions addressing support, thermal management, piping, and safety requirements.
• Translate electrical inputs into mechanical layouts and installation drawings.
• Select components per specifications and prepare comprehensive manufacturing documentation.
