- Designs and integrates mechanical concepts for new and existing products, ensuring compliance with specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborates in cross-functional teams to develop new products and improve existing designs.
- Creates and documents designs using Ceres or customer design processes and CAD systems; develops work breakdowns and project plans.
- Maintains high quality through self-reviews, peer design reviews, and participation in cross-functional reviews.
- Prepares presentations and technical documentation for engineering and customer design reviews.
- Partners with other functions to define test requirements and build documentation to verify product quality and functionality.
- Supports manufacturing during first article builds, integration, and standard production troubleshooting.
- Identifies design and product risks and leads mitigation through prototype testing and corrective actions.
- Participates in quality processes including DFMEA, PFMEA, and 8D, and actively supports continuous improvement initiatives.
- Coordinates cross-functional efforts to support business needs; maintains professional customer interactions, participates in meetings, and performs other assigned duties.

Salary: 68,600 - 102,800/yr
Job locationOn site presence in our Saugerties, NY location is required. A hybrid arrangement can be made.
