Mechanical Engineer

The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of systems that involve the integration of mechanical components.

  • Designs and integrates mechanical concepts for new and existing products, ensuring compliance with specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborates in cross-functional teams to develop new products and improve existing designs.
  • Creates and documents designs using Ceres or customer design processes and CAD systems; develops work breakdowns and project plans.
  • Maintains high quality through self-reviews, peer design reviews, and participation in cross-functional reviews.
  • Prepares presentations and technical documentation for engineering and customer design reviews.
  • Partners with other functions to define test requirements and build documentation to verify product quality and functionality.
  • Supports manufacturing during first article builds, integration, and standard production troubleshooting.
  • Identifies design and product risks and leads mitigation through prototype testing and corrective actions.
  • Participates in quality processes including DFMEA, PFMEA, and 8D, and actively supports continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Coordinates cross-functional efforts to support business needs; maintains professional customer interactions, participates in meetings, and performs other assigned duties.

Salary: 68,600 - 102,800/yr

Job location

On site presence in our Saugerties, NY location is required. A hybrid arrangement can be made.
