Takes full technical ownership of multiple complex designs end-to-end, manages system impacts and cross-functional dependencies, and drives solutions through significant technical uncertainty.

Role and Responsibilities

In this role, you will contribute to mechanical engineering deliverables that scale with job grade, from executing defined engineering tasks and supporting senior engineers to owning complex technical scope, coordinating cross-functional work, and leading program-level outcomes.

  • Identify, analyze, document, and manage requirements with traceability, including verification criteria to confirm deliverables meet design intent.
  • Conduct research, feasibility studies, and technical tradeoff analysis to support engineering recommendations and decision-making.
  • Develop mechanical engineering concepts and solutions that meet functionality, performance, cost, compliance, and schedule requirements.
  • Define and communicate specifications, high-level designs, interfaces, and technical documentation to support reviews, approvals, and downstream execution.
