Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or equivalent required.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license is mandatory.
• Experience in project delivery using AutoCAD and Revit with integration tools like NavisWorks.
• Proven experience in the A/E industry, particularly in specialty chemicals, heavy industrial, and manufacturing sectors.
• Willingness to travel for onsite customer meetings.
• Ability to climb plant stairs and ladders for site assessments.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Excellent technical writing and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical and process systems of varying complexity.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary design team members.
• Develop solutions for mechanical utility systems, including chilled water and compressed air.
• Validate designs through HVAC load calculations and pressure drops.
• Direct engineering and design workflow for project completion.
• Engage with clients, vendors, and contractors for collaboration.
• Manage project scope changes and develop contingency plans with project managers.
• Support construction services including field verification and site observation.
