Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or equivalent with 5 years of experience, or 10 years of practical design experience in aviation.
• Proficient in creating mechanical drawings using AutoCAD or CATIA (preferred).
• Knowledge of regulatory certification rules (FAA, EASA, TCCA).
• Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
• Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work well with diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare documentation for aircraft interior and structural modifications, including drawings and reports.
• Coordinate design and certification efforts with suppliers and regulatory agencies.
• Research and select components based on specifications in collaboration with suppliers.
• Support the creation of statements of work and bids for new projects.
• Assist with troubleshooting and resolution of modifications/test issues in collaboration with service center personnel.
• Contribute to teamwork and collaboration within the department.
