The customer is looking for a hands-on mechanical design engineer who can design complex semiconductor/industrial equipment, particularly sheet-metal and machined components, and take designs through manufacturing.
Mechanical Design Engineer with 5-12 years of experience designing semiconductor or industrial automation equipment, strong SolidWorks/AutoCAD skills, hands-on sheet-metal and precision-machined component design, GD&T, tolerance stack-up, BOM/product structuring, DFX/DFMEA, and manufacturing experience.
- Good experience in product structuring and BOM management
- Knowledge /hands-onn experience in manufacturing.
- Experience in Industrial Automation and Semiconductor Equipment design.
- Knowledge of clean room compatible materials and clean room requirements
- Knowledge of vacuum systems and gas systems (added advantage)
- Knowledge of system cooling & water flow analysis (added advantage)
- Experience in DFX & DFMEA
- Very good written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in concept generation
- Experience in design and detailed drawing creation of Sheetmetal and machined components of complex & precise parts
- Experience in Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)
- Experience in Tolerance Stack-Up Analysis
- bility to read schematics and P&ID drawings
- Good hands-on experience in SolidWorks & AutoCAD
