Full Job Description
We9re looking for passionate engineer with background in mechanical design to join the Large Gas Turbine Combustion Design team as design engineer for all combustion system developments. As the design engineer you would be intimately involved in development of various parts of the combustion system. You would interact with the combustion aerodynamic, procurement and manufacturing team and be a part of the integrated project team working on the design of new combustion systems. How You9ll Make an Impact 3 Design of the latest combustion hardware contributing to the decarbonization goals of Siemens Energy 3 Development of the latest combustion system utilizing the latest manufacturing techniques both conventional and additive. 3 Communicate and work effectively with manufacturing and service engineering colleagues on process improvements and new product development and introduction What You Bring 3 BS in Mechanical Engineering or related field is required. 3 3+ years9 experience in design of mechanical components. 3 Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals in machine design. 3 Ability to create complex drawings and specifications, including a solid understanding of GD&T 3 Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
