Chipton-Ross is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer for a contract opportunity in Tulsa, OK.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE)

  • Must have the ability to obtain a government security clearance
  • Minimum 10 years of mechanical design experience
  • Proficiency in Siemens NX
  • High expertise in at least one additional CAD platform: • SolidWorks, CATIA, or Creo, NX (preferred)
  • Proven experience designing for complex systems and applications


POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the design and development of complex mechanical components and assemblies
  • Provide technical expertise across sensor, electronic, electromechanical, and optical systems
  • Develop detailed CAD models, drawings, and engineering documentation
  • Support production and manufacturing teams with design for manufacturability
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on best practices
  • Apply advanced engineering analysis and problem-solving techniques


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE)

  • Strong experience with GD&T
  • Experience supporting production lines and design for manufacturability
  • Experience with shock, vibration, and stress analysis

Ability to adapt across different CAD tools and design environments

REQUIRED EDUCATION

  • Accredited Bachelors Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.


WORK HOURS

  • Full-Time
  • 9/80 work schedule
  • 1st Shift
