AANAC certification (or willing to obtain within 6 months)
Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and Managed Care Reimbursement
Familiarity with PPS and OBRA Scheduling
Understanding of CAA and Care Planning Process
Billing knowledge including Diagnosis Codes and UBO4
Skilled Nursing Facility Regulations and Compliance expertise
Responsibilities
Oversee all aspects of Medicare, Medicaid, and Managed Care Programs
Maintain financial policies and procedures related to Medicare and Medicaid Cost reports
Direct staff in the management of financial reports
Ensure timely and accurate submissions by the resident assessment team
Collaborate with Administrator and Director of Nursing and other department heads
