Full Job Description
Responsible for investigating and confirming the facts of loss for the most complex automobile accidents. Determines coverage, liability, damages and otherwise adjusts and negotiates claims within limit of authority. Mentors and provides direction to junior employees.

We are seeking a collaborative and influential claims professional who is passionate about quality, coaching, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will bring direct claim ownership experience, including handling complex liability and coverage investigations, property damage claims, and casualty claims. A strong understanding of claims quality standards, auditing practices, and industry best practices is essential.

The successful candidate is a relationship builder who enjoys coaching and developing others while driving high levels of team performance. They possess strong communication and influencing skills, a consultative approach, and a commitment to operational excellence. Previous leadership or mentoring experience is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities
• Recognizes and identifies body parts of a vehicle or understanding other potential property damage
• Identifies customer needs and works to meet those needs using appropriate customer service skills
• Determines subrogation or fraud potential and how to handle for the most complex cases
• Applies advanced understanding of insurance policies written by the company, the industry, and organizational relationships within the company and department
• Recommends process improvements
• Applies increased experience in the Sr Adjuster level or a rotation into a specialty position (Coverage, Investigation Specialist, Total Loss, Initial Handler, Extended Handler, Litigation, etc.)
• For claims involving injuries (if handled), learns how to review, evaluate, and negotiate moderate to complex/Catastrophic injury claims
• Handles investigation regarding all aspects of the most complex auto claims (coverage, liability and damages) with the exercise discretion and independence within increased level of authority

Supervisory Responsibilities
• This job does not have supervisory duties.

As a requirement of employment, individuals who currently hold an active insurance license must terminate all existing appointments prior to onboarding and must not hold any outside appointments at any point during employment. Applicants seeking an adjuster role who also hold a resident producer license must formally surrender that license when instructed to by the licensing team. Compensation
Base compensation offered for this role is:
Adjuster Sr. Cons II: $70,100.00 - 110,400.00/salary
Compensation is based on experience and qualifications. Total compensation for this role may include additional components, such as incentive pay (for example, commission or bonus), if applicable.

Allstate provides a comprehensive technology setup, including a laptop, monitors, headset, keyboard, and mouse. Employees eligible to work from home also receive a monthly connectivity reimbursement to help offset internet costs.

When working from home, you must have a dedicated, private workspace free from distractions, along with appropriate desk and seating. Reliable internet is required, with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload.
