Location Houston, TX (HO) - NAM Corporate The Maximo Supervisor leads the daily maintenance operations while driving the continuous improvement, data integrity, and user adoption of our IBM Maximo Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). This role balances field supervision with system enhancement, ensuring accurate asset tracking, optimized work order workflows, and enhanced team training. Key Responsibilities • Maximo Data Development & Optimization: Audit current CMMS data to clean up legacy records, streamline work order workflows, standardize asset/location hierarchies, and refine inventory/spares cataloging. • Team Leadership & Field Supervision: Direct daily activities of maintenance technicians, assign Maximo-generated work orders, monitor job execution, and ensure high quality and safety standards. • Training & User Adoption: Develop and deliver targeted Maximo training modules for technicians, planners, and operators to ensure accurate time tracking, detailed job closing notes, and proper failure coding. • Process Improvement & Reporting: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to track system usage, maintenance backlog, and asset reliability, leveraging data insights to drive preventive maintenance strategies. • Data Governance: Define and enforce standardized data entry protocols across the maintenance department to maintain long-term CMMS data health. Required Qualifications: • Experience:3+ years supervising maintenance teams; 5+ years of hands-on experience using IBM Maximo. • Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Maximo module navigation (Assets, Work Orders, PMs, Inventory), workflow development, and reporting. • Soft Skills Proven: Leadership capability, excellent communication skills, and a strong track record in technical training and onboarding. • Education High School Diploma/GED required; Associate or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, or Asset Management preferred. Preferred Qualification: • Prior industrial gas experience.
